The Cricket World Cup is back with India after a gap of 27 years. India last won the Cup in 1983.
"I don't mind crying," said Sachin Tendulkar, who was hoisted up by the players on their shoulders for the victory lap round Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.

Yuvraj dedicated the victory to Sachin, who, in turn, credited the team and coach Gary Kirsten.
